Tooth Whitening or Bleaching
Tooth whitening or bleaching is a chemical process that whitens natural teeth. We offer a very safe and effective take-home treatment procedure. This involves fabricating upper and lower custom-made flexible-acrylic trays that fit snugly around your teeth and serve to hold the bleaching gel against the tooth surface. The application of this gel into the trays and the process of bleaching is simple enough to do in the comfort and convenience of your home, and for most people, it takes 7 days to achieve the brighter smile they desire.
Composite and Porcelain Veneers
Correction of stained, weakened or crooked teeth can be achieved using veneers. Veneers are thin shells of material which are cemented onto the front surface of the tooth. There are two main types of veneers:
- Composite veneers are constructed in the dental chair, directly onto the tooth, and are made from a composite resin material which is aesthetic and relatively durable. They are more cost effective, and can be easily maintained/polished and repaired when required.
- Porcelain veneers are fabricated within a dental laboratory to custom-fit your tooth surface, and cemented on by your dentist. These types of veneers can achieve higher quality aesthetics, are a lot more durable and longer lasting, but are more costly.
